Your lawn survived winter. Barely.
It's March. The frost has gone. And what's left is a patchy, yellowing mess riddled with moss and dandelions already pushing through. The grass that made it looks tired, thin, and starving for nutrients.
Most people wait until it's too late. They let the weeds get established, let the moss keep spreading, and by the time they act, they're fighting on three fronts with three different products.
One bag fixes all three. Right now, before the weeds take hold.
Kill the Moss. Kill the Weeds. Feed the Grass.
One application wakes your lawn up after winter. Moss blackens in hours. Weeds die in weeks. Grass thickens and greens up for summer. Just shake it on.
Shake. Soak. Succeed.
Three steps. Five minutes. Your lawn sorted for summer.
Shake
Scatter the granules evenly across your lawn by hand. No spreader needed, no complicated equipment. Just you and the bag.
Soak
Water it in thoroughly or let the rain do the work. The granules dissolve and start working within hours.
Succeed
Moss blackens in hours. Grass greens up in 1-2 weeks. Weeds die in 2-4 weeks. You do nothing else until summer.
What You're Actually Getting
Three products in one bag. One application. One price.
Spring Moss Killer
Iron sulphate complex that turns moss black within hours of application. No raking required. The dead moss breaks down naturally and your grass grows through it.
Selective Weed Killer
Targets dandelions, clover, daisies, and other broadleaf weeds while leaving your grass completely unharmed. The weeds curl, yellow, and die. Your lawn fills the gaps.
High-Nitrogen Spring Feed
Controlled-release nitrogen that kickstarts spring growth. Greens up yellow, starving grass within days and keeps feeding for weeks. The boost your lawn needs after months of dormancy.
Bought separately, you'd spend around £30 on a moss killer, £25+ on a selective weed killer, and £20+ on spring lawn feed. That's £75+ in products, three separate applications, and three trips to the garden centre.
Or: one bag, one application, from £29.99.
What You'll See (And When)
The transformation happens in stages. Here's what to expect.

Quick Answers
"When should I apply it?"
March to May, once soil temperature is consistently above 5°C and grass has started growing. Earlier is better. Get it down before the weeds establish and you'll get the best results.
"Is it safe for my dog?"
Completely. Once watered in and the lawn is dry (usually a few hours after rain or watering), it's safe for pets and children. We designed it that way because we have dogs too.
"Do I need a spreader?"
No. Shake it from the bag by hand. You can use a spreader if you prefer, but it's not necessary. Apply at roughly 35g per square metre.
"Can I overseed at the same time?"
No. Wait 4 weeks after applying this treatment before sowing grass seed. The weed killer component can affect germination. If you're planning to overseed straight away, use our Pre-Seed Foundation Feed instead.
"What if frost is forecast?"
Light overnight frosts are fine once the product is watered in. Avoid applying if heavy, prolonged frost is expected in the next 48 hours.
"Will my lawn look worse before it gets better?"
The moss will turn black. That's it working. Some people find this alarming but it's completely normal. It breaks down naturally over the following weeks and your grass grows through it.
"What if it rains after I apply it?"
Perfect. Rain helps wash the granules into the soil. Heavy rain within 2 hours might reduce effectiveness slightly, but generally rain is your friend here.
"What if it doesn't work?"
Then you get your money back. Every penny. 60-day guarantee, no questions asked. Keep reading.

This did a great job of killing the moss and weeds but some of the bare patches left behind were too large for the grass to fill in on its own. Ended up overseeding about four weeks later which sorted it. The treatment itself works well but if your lawn is very bare you will probably need seed as well.
I am not exaggerating when I say our lawn was about seventy percent moss before I applied this. It had been neglected for years. One application in April and by June we had an actual lawn. The moss is completely gone and the grass has filled in where it used to be. Genuinely transformative.
I left it until late April to apply and I think I missed the ideal window. The weeds had already established quite strongly by then and while it did kill most of them the dandelions were stubborn. The moss killing and feeding worked brilliantly though. Next year I will get it down in March.
I have tried Miracle-Gro and Westland spring treatments in previous years and this is noticeably better. The moss killing is faster the grass response is stronger and the weed control is more thorough. My lawn has never looked this good going into summer. Will not be going back to the big brand products.
Every spring my lawn fills up with dandelions and I spend weekends pulling them out by hand. This year I applied Good Grow instead and the dandelions started wilting within two weeks. By week four they were gone completely. The lawn is thick enough now that new ones cannot get a foothold. Brilliant.
Applied in March. Moss dead in two days. Weeds dying by week three. Grass thick and green by mid May. One bag one application and the lawn is sorted for summer. Exactly what I wanted. No fuss no complicated routine just results.
Our lawn looked terrible after winter. Yellow patches everywhere and moss had taken over at least a third of it. Applied Good Grow Spring Treatment in mid-March and the moss started turning black within a day. By the end of April the grass was thick and green and the weeds were gone. Neighbours have commented on how good it looks. Wish I had found this years ago.
We have about 200 square metres of lawn and bought accordingly. Coverage was accurate and application took about twenty minutes by hand. Even spread was easy enough without a machine. Results were consistent across the whole area. No patchy spots or missed sections. Good value for the size of lawn we have.
Applied in late March expecting to wait weeks for results. The grass started looking greener within five or six days which was much quicker than I anticipated. The moss took a bit longer to fully break down but the overall improvement in the lawn was visible almost immediately. Very pleased.
The speed this killed the moss was genuinely surprising. Applied it on a Saturday morning and by Monday the moss was completely black. Two weeks later the grass had filled in where the moss used to be. No raking needed which saved me hours of work. The lawn is now the greenest it has been in years.
No spreader needed which was a selling point for me. Just scattered it by hand in about ten minutes and watered it in. The results speak for themselves. Moss dead within days grass greening up within a week and weeds dying within three weeks. Cannot fault it.
Was worried about our dogs but followed the instructions and kept them off until the granules had dissolved. No issues at all and the lawn looks fantastic. The dogs are back to their usual antics and the grass is handling it well. Good to know it is safe for the family.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast is delivery?
We dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Most orders arrive within 3-5 days. Free UK delivery on all orders.
When should I apply spring lawn treatment?
March to May is ideal, once soil temperature is consistently above 5°C and grass has started growing. If the ground isn’t frozen and you can see green growth, you’re good to go.
Can I apply if frost is forecast?
Light overnight frosts are fine once the product is watered in. Avoid applying if heavy, prolonged frost is expected in the next 48 hours.
Will this help my yellow, patchy lawn?
Absolutely. The nitrogen boost will green up yellow grass within 1-2 weeks, and killing off moss and weeds gives your grass room to fill in the patches.
Can I overseed at the same time?
No—wait 4 weeks after applying this treatment before adding grass seed. The weed killer can affect germination. Use our Pre-Seed Foundation Feed instead if you’re seeding.
Do I need special equipment?
No. Just shake the granules from the bag by hand. You can use a spreader if you prefer, but it’s not necessary.
How much do I need?
Apply at roughly 35g per m². Each bag states its coverage. We recommend getting slightly more than you think for any stubborn patches.
Is it safe for pets and children?
Yes, once watered in and the lawn is dry. Keep children and pets off the treated area until then—usually a few hours after rain or watering.
How long until I see results?
Moss blackens within hours. Grass greens up within 1-2 weeks. Weeds die within 2-4 weeks and are usually gone within 6 weeks.
Will my lawn look worse before it gets better?
The moss will turn black—that’s it working. Some find this alarming, but it’s completely normal and breaks down naturally.
What if it rains straight after application?
Perfect! Rain helps wash the granules into the soil. Heavy rain within 2 hours might reduce effectiveness slightly, but generally rain is your friend.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. If you’re not satisfied after following the instructions, contact us within 60 days and we’ll make it right or give you a full refund.
Worried you’re jumping the gun?
If the ground isn’t frozen and you can see grass growing, you’re ready. Spring lawn treatment works best when applied early—before the weeds get established. And if it doesn’t work? Full refund, no questions asked.
